SHEARING SCHOOL AT SHEAR OUTBACK 

WHEN: Dates to be confirmed but from week commencing 15 October 2012 for 10 days

COST: $231 need to register at ASAP to ensure place, places fill quickly
REQUIREMENTS: Existing workers An Existing Worker means someone who works and/or lives in NSW and is:
A person 20 years of age or older who has been in paid employment for more than one hour in the week prior to commencement of training, or
A person 15 - 19 years of age who is not formally enrolled in school and has been in paid employment for more than 15 hours in the week prior to commencement of training; and is
Not an apprentice or trainee, unless in the case of an apprentice their TAFE enrolment indicates course complete

Shear Outback Yard Dog Trials

inaugural Shear Outback Yard Dog Trial on Easter Saturday,
April 7 ... a great day out for spectators and competitors.

Shear Outback Internet Workshop Back by popular Demand

The I Shear Project, funded by Arts NSW, and presented by Shear Outback,LEAVE YOUR STENCIL Project.
provided the Hay community with the opportunity to learn how to use social
networking - an opportunity that the local community seized with enthusiasm. The
first workshop was held in November 2011 and proved very popular with 22 people
attending .
The second workshop in the series takes place with facilitator Tim Gentle from
Design Experts returning to Hay on Monday 27 February 2012 from 9.30am to
12.30pm at the Hay Library meeting room.
The workshop “Going on line is more than just having a web site!” is open to all level
of internet users.
It will explore what is available online for businesses and organisations to promote
themselves and assist with administration.
There be opportunities to interact in the Shear Outback social media sites which
have been set up as part of the I Shear
